Delete your Bidas account

Delete it from the app

This works in the Bidas mobile app for Android and iPhone, and in the Bidas desktop app for Mac and Windows.

1. Open Bidas and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to Settings, then Account.
3. Choose Delete my account.
4. Confirm with your password. The deletion runs immediately.

If you cannot sign in

Email us from the address the account uses and ask for it to be deleted. We verify ownership of the address before acting, and complete the request within 30 days. [email protected]

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in credentials and every active session on every device.
• Your proposals, clients, services, terms and clauses, and business profiles held on our servers.
• Hosted proposal links you have sent. They stop resolving, so a client opening an old link sees nothing.
• Uploaded logos and signature images.
• Support tickets and their replies.
• Your email address is released, so it can be used to sign up again later.

What is kept, and for how long

• Records of payments and invoices, where tax and accounting law requires us to retain them. These identify the transaction, not your proposal content.
• Work you synced into a team workspace owned by somebody else stays with that workspace, because it is their record rather than yours. If you own a workspace that other members are still using, ownership passes to a remaining member; a workspace nobody else is in is deleted with your account.
• Ordinary server logs, which are rotated on a short schedule and are not used to reconstruct an account.

Data still on your own device

Bidas is local-first, so a copy of your work also lives in a database on your computer or phone. Deleting the account removes the server copy. To remove the local copy, uninstall the app.

This cannot be undone

Deletion is immediate and permanent. Export anything you want to keep before you start — Settings has an export for your proposals and records.
